The
picture above is an Excimer laser. Our task was to design and build a new smaller, cheaper laser for a
growing market. This project involved optical
packaging, 5000 amp circuit design, electrode design,
cross-flow blowers, magnetically couple DC brush-less
motors (patented), and pressure vessel design. The project
was started in March and an operational prototype was
completed by September.
Most of our projects are of a simpler nature and are
completed in a timely manner because a similar type
project has already been done or has been seen in the past
20+ years. It is not unusual for us to start a project
that is already in the critical path. And by using the
latest engineering tools and the available engineering
experience, we will get it off the critical
path. Starting at concept or any other place
the project can be developed, prototyped and tested with manufacturing
tooling for 1/month - 10k/month production
schedules.
